Child Licences Guidance

If you are planning to film children or young people (anyone between the ages of 0 and 16), you must contact the LEA to ask for dispensation. The LEA decision is legal and binding, and you must have a dispensation in writing (an email is acceptable.) You must comply with the maximum hours schedule and all other regulations even if you are granted exemption. Planning for this should start very early, because
there are procedures to be followed and paperwork to be completed. It may take a significant amount of
time to arrange.
