About the event
The BA2 Fiction Showcase is a celebration of your creativity, dedication, and collaboration that has defined this year’s filmmaking journey.
Across the evening, we will screen your 12 original short films, each the result of months of your teamwork. These films represent the collective effort of cast, crew, and creative collaborators who have brought these stories to life.
This is both a celebration and a showcase - an opportunity to experience the work on the big screen, surrounded by the community who helped make it happen.
Following the screenings, we will host our Audience Awards, giving everyone in the room the chance to celebrate the films that resonated most with them on the night.
🎟 Seats are limited and so book your ticket to guarantee your attendance.
You’re welcome to share the booking link with your cast and volunteers.
Up to 6 tickets can be booked per order. We will need the name and email address of each attendee.
And finally…
Dress code: SUPERSTAR.
It’s a celebration — show up like one.
See you soon!
Guidelines:
Celebration Screening Guidelines
This evening is a celebration of the creativity, collaboration, and hard work that has gone into these films. It’s also a shared viewing experience — one that deserves an attentive, supportive, and respectful audience.
We want the focus to remain on the work and the atmosphere in the room. Please approach the evening responsibly and be mindful of the space, your fellow audience members, and the work that is being showcased.
We are hosting this event within the film school and you are not allowed to bring alcohol into the building. If you wish to drink alcohol as part of the celebratory atmosphere, you should do it responsibly and elsewhere. Please do not bring alcohol into the cinema. We need to leave the space as we found it. The cinema is hosting an important event Saturday morning, and we cannot leave mess for someone else to deal with, so please leave the space as you find it.
Let’s create an environment that reflects the care, professionalism, and energy that went into making these films — present, engaged, generous in spirit, and respectful of the venue.
Thank you for helping make this a great night for everyone.
Audience Awards Guidelines
At the end of the screening, to celebrate the films together and recognise the work that resonated most on the night with you the audience, we’ll be hosting Audience Awards.
These awards are voted for by those in attendance and reflect the response of the audience in the room. They are not selected or influenced by staff, and they do not represent an official or academic judgement.
The intention is simply to add a moment of shared celebration and encouragement. Every film shown tonight represents an enormous amount of creativity, collaboration, and commitment, and this event exists to honour that collective effort.
The voting process will be explained on the night, and we encourage everyone to vote thoughtfully, generously, and in the spirit of celebrating the work around you.
